Soprano Anna Veleva has received international acclaim as one of today's most gifted and versatile Opera stars. She has performed at Carnegie Hall – “Stern Auditorium”, J.F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Suntory Hall in Tokyo, The National Palace of Culture in Bulgaria and other prestigious Venues. Anna has toured major theaters in the USA managed by the Columbia Artists Management.

Among important figures who mentored and worked with Anna are Placido Domingo, Renata Scotto, Aprile Millo, Gena Dimitrova, Alec Baldwin and William Schuman.

Veleva has a Masters degree in Opera performance, Voice and Acting. She has graduated from the “Mannes College of Music” of the The New School University in New York and the State Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, Bulgaria.
She has done additional training in Method acting, Meisner and Alexander techniques, which led her to be one of the actors to participate in Alec Baldwin's Master Class at the Southampton College - Long Island University.

Anna quickly built a reputation of one of the most distinguished Vocal Coaches internationally. She has learned and inherited the Vocal Method of her grandfather Georgi Zlatev-Cherkin - one of Bulgaria's most distinguished composers and Professors of Vocal Pedagogy. Among his students were world-renowned Opera stars Ljuba Welitsch, Anna Tomowa-Sintow, Alexandrina Miltcheva and others.
